“After spending four years at my high school in Boston, I wanted to explore other regions in the U.S. and discover new opportunities. However, as a sixteen years old, I was initially overwhelmed and intimidated by the entire college application process. My college counselor Justin Grosslight was able to take away some of my lingering anxiety and help me throughout my process of self discovery. It is important to have this support from a college counselor who is dedicated to understanding your personal goals, fields of interest, and the environments that are most conducive to your personal and professional growth. Developing a strong sense of what one is looking for in a university is only the first part of the whole equation. Like most students, I experienced the uncertainty of what I would have to do next. Besides factors like grades and achievements, Justin helped me hone in on what I need to express to the admission counselors, giving them a holistic perspective of who I am as a person and what vision I want to achieve after graduation. He always stood by me and was always available to my questions and concerns regardless of my timezone. His deep insight to the college process and expert writing skills assure me that my application was perfect. His commitment to my success is also an invaluable asset that empowers me to find which university would be best for me to pursue my path in business study. By the end of it all, I was accepted to Pepperdine University, Loyola Marymount University, Muhlenberg University, Saint Mary’s College of California amongst others with scholarship awards. I could not be any happier at Pepperdine University, which has been my dream school for the longest time.
